The paper discusses how the frequency dictionaries of a writer or a literary work could be used in the field of textual critics. Using the frequency dictionaries of three versions of Everything Flows, one of the most important works by Vasily Grossman, the author tries to reconstruct the evolution of the images and ideas of this short novel.
