When Does Teleworking Become Smart Working?: Literature Review

Articolo
Data di Pubblicazione:
2024
Abstract:
The recent COVID-19 pandemic has imposed the application of social distancing measures aimed at containing contagion, highlighting the need to identify alternative forms of work organization to the traditional
ones. To guarantee distancing and allow a partial continuation of work activity, a massive use was made of Smart Working, a practice that makes work more flexible, allowing you to operate without time and place constraints. This work presents a review of the literature regarding the meaning of smart working, with the aim of being able to identify the characteristics that allow it to be distinguished from other forms of teleworking.
