DISCRETE SIGNALS WITH MULTI-LEVEL CORRELATION FUNCTION

Academic Article
Publication Date:
2012
abstract:
The work considers group codes and investigates their structural properties from the viewpoint of decomposing them into non-overlapping cyclical orbits. A method of forming big ensembles of discrete signals with a multi-level correlation function is suggested. The formation of discrete signals is based on cuts of group code non-zero cyclical orbits. The work shows that the suggested method generalizes some discrete signals known before (suborthogonal sequences and Gold codes) and generally allows to synthesize binary sequences with a multi-level correlation function. © 2012 by Begell House, Inc.
