Pseudorandom Sequences with Multi-Level Correlation Function for Direct Spectrum Spreading

Abstract:
Methods of forming pseudorandom sequences (discrete signals) for code-division multiple access systems are investigated. A method is proposed for the algebraic formation of large ensembles of pseudorandom sequences with a multilevel correlation function based on the cross section of nonzero cyclic orbits of a group code. It has been established that the characteristics of the generated signal ensembles (the number and magnitude of the side-lobe levels, the power of the sequence ensemble) depend on the properties of the group code used. It is shown that the use of formed ensembles of pseudorandom sequences can significantly increase the subscriber capacity of the communication system with code division multiple access, with increasing length of the sequences, this trend increases.
