abstract:
Adolescence is a crucial period for identity construction, a process that inevitably involves the affective and relational dimensions in a significant way. The latter, in turn, is profoundly influenced by the growing pervasiveness of new technologies and social
networks. Social media platforms, which have become the ordinary medium for daily interactions, are in fact permeated by a "logic of the fragment," capable of reshaping the affective imaginary on both an individual and collective level, particularly
within Generation Z. Despite legitimate concerns, from a pedagogical perspective, it is essential to refocus on the ability to attribute meaning to the affective experience, re-establishing the cognitive
role of narrative thought.
