Scuola e famiglia in dialogo : l'esperienza della Scuola dei Genitori di Milano negli anni Sessanta = School and family in dialogue : the experience of the School for Parents of Milan in the Sixties

The article examines some of the aspects of the relationship between school and family in the 1960s, with particular attention to collaboration dynamics and the strategies adopted to foster dialogue between parents and educational institutions. For this
purpose, «The School for Parents», a bimonthly magazine and the official publication of the Milanbased
School for Parents, published from 1960 to 1967, is analysed. Through the reflections and reports
of meetings on educational issues presented in the magazine, it is possible to reconstruct the contemporary debate and understand the initiatives promoted in anticipation of the socio-cultural transformations that would characterize the period of social movements of 1968.
