This paper intends to address the issues of migration and integration, starting from the family and in particular mothers.
Referring on a theoretical level to studies on family education - especially parenting support - it analyses
the characteristics and importance of programs that support migrant motherhood as a way to promote well-being and integration of the whole family.
Two cases of best practices in Milan are discussed as a reflection on the topic.
