BOCCI EDOARDO

Edoardo Bocci (ORCID: 0000-0001-6285-9070) was born in 1986. He obtains his bachelor and master in Civil Engineering at the Università Politecnica delle Marche respectively in 2008 and 2010, both with the note 110/110 cum laude. In 2014, he gets his PhD in Analysis and Design of Architecture and Territory – Structure and Infrastructure Engineering at the Università Politecnica delle Marche. From 2014 to 2019, he is assistant professor at the Università eCampus in Road, Railways and Airfields. From 2019, he is associate professor at the Università eCampus, teacher of Fundamentals on Road Infrastructures, Road Design and Theory of Transportation Systems. He is a member of the Research Center on Energy, Environment and Territory (CREAT), promoted by the Faculty of Engineering of Università eCampus. In addition, he is a member of SIIV (Italian Society of Road Infrastructures) since 2011 and he is a member of RILEM (Réunion Internationale des Laboratoires et Experts des Matériaux, systèmes de construction et ouvrages) since 2016.
The research activity is focused on the road pavements. In particular, he is expert of special pavements for orthotropic steel deck bridges, hot and cold recycling of reclaimed asphalt pavement, clear binders for road pavements, recycling of steel slags, material from Construction & Demolition of buildings and fibers from end-of-life tires in hot bituminous mixtures, asphalt rubber, damage modelling in asphalt concrete. He is author of more than 30 papers published in international peer-reviewed journals or proceedings of international conferences. In addition, he supervised more than 50 bachelor and master thesis.
