Abstract:
We already outlined, in the first volume
(Di Tommaso et al. 2009; Lancellotta 2009)
that the construction of a tower is an
example of great structural effort, and its
leaning actually hides some problems related
to the interaction with the foundation soil,
sometime not so evident at first glance.
