abstract:
This study explores the experiences of university students during the Covid-19 lockdown in Italy, using
geospatial platforms such as Google My Maps to collect testimonies. The aim of the research was to investigate perceptions
related to quarantine, physical distancing, and daily dynamics within their homes. The collected testimonies highlight
activities carried out in the domestic space and interaction methods; they were analyzed to develop tailored educational
models for teachers and students aimed at mapping the relationships between epidemiological and environmental
disaster locations and human experiences, and to guide future stakeholders and governments in adopting pedagogical
and psychological tools useful in emergencies.
