Abstract:
Over the last twenty-five years, the
Italian school has undergone profound
transformations, especially in organisational,
pedagogical and social terms. This article
therefore intends to retrace its history,
analysing the origins and impact of these
important changes and reconstructing the
European framework within which they have
matured. In tackling the critical issues and
challenges generated by these turning points,
this contribution also aims to offer some food
for thought on decisive issues for the future of
school system
