LANDONI ENRICO

Enrico Landoni is Associate Professor of Contemporary History at eCampus University, where he teaches Contemporary History, History of Political Parties and Movements, History of Journalism and History of Sport and Sports Journalism. He obtained, in 2007, the PhD in European Society and International Life in the Modern and Contemporary Age (XIX cycle) at the University of Milan where, until 2018, he carried out teaching and research activities, as postdoc (2007-2011) at the Department of Historical Sciences and Documentation, professor of Sports History at the School of Sport Sciences (2012-2018) and professor of Contemporary History (A.A. 2012-13), at the Faculty of Political, Economic and Social Sciences. Member of the Italian Society for the Study of Contemporary History (SISSCO), the Italian Society of Sport History (SISS), the European Committee for Sports History (CESH), the European Society for Periodical Research (ESPRit), and the American Association for Italian Studies (AAIS), Enrico Landoni was a reviewer in the VQR 2011-14 and 2015-19 campaigns. He has been visiting professor at the Pedagogical University of Krakow, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, and De Montfort University in Leicester (UK). In the academic year 2021-22 he was professore of "Sport in Modern History" at Ave Maria University (Florida - USA). Enrico Landoni is currently part of the teaching staff of the International PhD Programme in History, Cultural Heritage and International Studies at the University of Cagliari. His main research topics are Fascism, the political history of the Italian post-World War II period, sports history and the North-South, East-West international relations. He is a trainer for CONI Olympic Training - 2023/2024 list.
